Abstract:In view of the large thickness of No.4 coal seam in Majialiang Coal Mine and the waste of a large amount of coal resources by leaving large-size coal pillars, the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods are used to determine the method of layered support to support the roof of the roadway. The method of pressure relief support is used to support the roadway side, and the width of the section protection coal pillar is reduced to 8 m. Through the field test in 14502 track roadway, the field monitoring data show that the overall deformation of the roadway is not large, and there is no obvious separation phenomenon in the roof, which can meet the safety production needs of the site and save coal resources.
