Abstract:In order to solve the problem of instability and failure of roadway in 221 mining area of Jiaojiazhai Mine under the influence of mining, taking the 22116 fully mechanized caving face in the mining area as the engineering background, the research and practice of roof cutting and pressure relief roadway protection technology are carried out by means of theoretical analysis, engineering analogy and field monitoring. The research results show that the blasting pre-splitting roof cutting technology is suitable for the working face, and it is more reasonable to set the blasting roof cutting position at 20 m behind the stop line. The target rock stratum of this roof cutting is 9.68 m coarse-grained sandstone main key stratum. After the roof cutting, the deformation of the surrounding rock increases little under the influence of mining, which protects the roadway in the mining area.
