Abstract: In order to liberate the coal resources under construction and prolong the service life of the mine, based on many years of filling mining practice, a whole-area continuous automatic filling mining technology system for deep and thick coal seams was built in Xingdong Mine. The technologies of roadway gangue filling mining, fully mechanized gangue filling mining and ultra-high water material filling mining were upgraded, and the large vertical depth gangue feeding system and other technical equipment were developed. The field application showed that the filling mining effectively controlled the subsidence rate, formed a regional overall subsidence, and effectively alleviated the influence on the ground buildings (structures). The surface did not form a subsidence basin significantly affected by the mining, and the damage level of ground buildings ( structures ) was within the range of level Ⅰ, which achieved good economic and social benefits.
