Combined with the actual geological conditions of Wannian Mine, the width of coal pillars was minimized, coal recovery rate was improved, the relationship between roadway stability and coal pillar width of the roadway was studied by using borehole, numerical simulation and monitoring analysis method, providing theoretical guidance for the optimal design. This paper optimizes the supporting design of the section inclined roadway in the first working face of the mine, and demonstrates the rationality of the existing support and the reliability of the optimization scheme.
