The large deformation and failure of the 4008 transportation lane of Hongfa Coal Industry was taken as the research object, and the deformation and failure characteristics of the 4008 transport roadway were analyzed. The main factors such as influence, mining disturbance and so on affecting the stability of the 4008 transport lane were mainly the greater depth of the roadway and the geological structure. And based on the concept of deep roadway coupling support, the project of anchor + key position anchorage + bottom angle grouting bolt + compound tray + welded steel mesh rework support was proposed. From the deformation situation of the field test roadway, the rework support scheme enabled to realize the effective control of the surrounding rock of the 4008 transportation roadway.
