Abstract: Rock soil freezing is the application of artificial refrigeration technology to freeze unstable strata into a frozen wall with certain strength and water sealing. Combining the calculation of the surface heat of the freezing wall and the total heat dissipation capacity of the freezing tube with thermodynamics, through the analysis of the different stages and different types of heat sources of the frozen body, the main factors affecting the cooling capacity of the rock soil freezing were discussed, the influence of various factors on the freezing wall was analyzed, and the countermeasures to overcome the adverse factors of the rock soil freezing were proposed. In the calculation of the cooling capacity of the rock soil freezing construction, the value of the heat exchange coefficient was reasonably selected according to the actual heat exchange capacity. During the construction, the cooling supply shall be adjusted reasonably to realize the safety, economy and efficiency of the geotechnical freezing project.
