Abstract: In order to solve the failure of gob-side entry retaining caused by insufficient, uneven and not timely roof caving in thin coal working face, according to the characteristics of thin coal working face roof in Dashucun Mine of Jizhong Energy Peak Group, it is proposed to set up roof cutting pressure relief drilling holes in advance, accurately locate pressure relief, and reduce the pressure of gob-side entry retaining. Based on this, the DCA-45 slitting drill was introduced in the mine. The slitting drill was used to construct the pressure relief drill hole in advance of the coal wall, and the position was accurate. After the mining was pushed to the goaf, the blasting cutting was carried out. The key points of this technology are accurate positioning of roof cutting and pressure relief, mainly including roof layer analysis and positioning and drilling positioning. Through research and analysis and field implementation, roof cutting and pressure relief technology can better release the roof pressure of goaf, and reduce the roof pressure of goaf and the periodic weighting of working face on gob-side entry retaining roadway.
