Study on the key technology and field application of self-forming roadway without coal pillar for cutting top and unloading pressure in thin coal seam of Xiaonan Mine

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of strong mining pressure and gas accumulation in goaf caused by coal pillar protection in Xiaonan Mine, the fracturing filling technology of self-formed roadway without coal pillar was put forward. It included advanced pre-cracking of roof along goaf, reinforcement of roof with constant resistance and large deformation of anchor cable, temporary support technology of hydraulic unit and sealing of U-shaped gangue on goaf side. The results showed that the technology of deep hole cumulative blasting can effectively cut off the connection between the roof of goaf roadway and working face, and the stress of surrounding rock of roadway can be concentrated transferred to the deep to realize the stability of roadway. The combined supporting technology of anchor cable reinforcement with constant resistance and large deformation and the reinforcement of single hydraulic prop beside the roadway can meet the requirements of large deformation of surrounding rock and impact deformation of cutting head after the roadway forming and ensure the stability of the roadway. The U36 steel temporary support system for retaining gangue and hydraulic monolith can meet the impact deformation of the collapsed roof and the creep characteristics of the crushed rock top in goaf. The successful application of this technology will provide an economical and effective new theory and technology for long wall face mining in Tiefa Energy Group.
