As a new type of transportation equipment, the monorail crane transportation system was simple in operation, with less personnel, strong adaptability to the roadway, large traffic volume, and strong lifting capacity. It could realize multi-slope, multi-curve and long-distance continuous transportation. The advanced monorail crane transportation system was essential for its supporting operation design. The natural conditions of the mine, the layout of the roadway and the coal mining process, as well as the transportation conditions of the large-scale equipment of the mine were analyzed.
