The purity of cyanuric acid was determined by HPLC. The determination conditions were that the chromatographic column was C18 ( 250 mm×4.6mm, 5 μm ) with the mobile phase of pH = 4.5 phosphate buffer- acetonitrile ( 85∶15 ) , the flow was 1.2 mL/min and detection wavelength was 213 nm. The results show that in the concentration range of 0.15 ~ 1.35 mg/mL, the peak area is in a good linear relationship with the concentration, and the minimum detection limit is 0.50 μg/mL. The method is simple, rapid and accurate, and suitable for the determination of the purity of cyanuric acid.
