Study on formulation optimization of combustion improver with meagre coal as pulverized coal injection into blast furnace

Based on six kinds of catalysts which were cerium oxide, ferric oxide, neutral aluminum oxide, calcium hydroxide, lanthanide oxide and manganese dioxide, four good catalysts were selected through weightless test and then continued orthogonal experiment. With ignition point, calorific value and volatile as evaluation standards, catalyst proportion of better combustion performance was settled in different aspects including 2% manganese dioxide, 5% calcium hydroxide, 0.5 % cerium oxide and 2% ferric oxide. Finally the analysis of infrared spectroscopic would be done with mixture of optimal catalyst and raw coal.
