In order to improve the accuracy of the determination of the coal calorific value, the cartridge was calculated based on the heat. The detailed analysis of the problems was made, when emphasizing the determination of the heat capacity, the cooling correction, the safe use of the instrument and the instrument. Problem-solving approach was presented.
