No.9 coal seam mining in Jushan Mine is facing the threat of water accumulation in the goaf area. With on-site investigation and consulting mine exploration and release of water accumulation in the goaf area, the water accumulation in the goaf of No.3 coal seam in Jushan Mine was investigated and analyzed, and the height of water-conducting fissure zone in the roof of No.9 coal seam was calculated. The results showed that the development height of the water-conducting fissure zone of No.9 coal seam can reach with K5 water-bearing layer and cannot reach the No.3 coal seam goaf area, but considering the bottom plate destruction height of No.3 coal seam, the local area may reach the No.3 coal seam goaf area, so the No.9 coal seam mining in Jushan Mine facing the threat of water accumulation, the waterlogging prevention and control measures were proposed.
