Based on the serious deformation of air return roadway in the 8232 working face mining of Tashan Mine, in order to avoid similar problems during service of 8234 return airway, the surrounding rock failure characteristics were analyzed through theoretical analysis, and the support of the mining roadway adjacent to the working face was similar. The support scheme was optimized and the parameters were designed. During the field application, the roof delamination instrument and displacement meter were used for monitoring. The results showed that the roof delamination and the surrounding rock displacement were within reasonable ranges, with good support effect.
