Monitoring system is an important system to ensure the high operation efficiency and high operation safety of mine ventilator. Continuously improving the comprehensive performance of the monitoring system has become an important improvement direction for enterprises to enhance the comprehensive performance of the ventilator. Therefore, combined with the problems of the FBD fan monitoring system in Yulin Mine, based on the monitoring system, the overall scheme design of the system was carried out, and the PLC module, vibration transmitter and other key parts of the system were designed and analyzed. Finally, the improved monitoring system was applied in the FBD fan test, the test showed that the monitoring system functions can better meet the use needs of the FBD type coal mine ventilator, with a certain feasibility. This research played an important role on improving the comprehensive performance of the ventilator, and also provided an important reference for the later research on the upgrading of the monitoring system.
