The spray drying process was applied to recover solvent wash oil from coal liquefaction residue extract. In order to solve furnace tube coking and clogging, measures like optimizing centrifugal dry-phase pump stability, increasing medium flow, and enhancing temperature monitoring were adopted, extending the coking cycle from 1 month to over 6 months. Inclined pipeline arrangement and a new dry gas scrubber resolved spray drying tower gas pipeline clogging, achieving an operation cycle of over 1 a. Additionally, hot nitrogen dredging, discharge balance lines, knockers, and forced discharge rakes improved powder discharge, increasing the system cycle from 3 days to over 3 months. This process effectively prolonged the overall plant operation cycle and yielded significant economic benefits.
