Abstract： The operation of medium-concentration pipe coal slurry thickening to high-concentration gasification coal slurry process was summaried. The success of the first batch of high-concentration gasification coal slurry transportation at Shaanxi Shenwei Coal Pipeline Transportation Corporation Ltd., marks the successful realization of industrialization and industrial application of medium-concentration pipe coal slurry thickening to high-concentration gasification coal slurry process. As a medium-concentration coal slurry dewatering and thickening process, the operation process can learn from the traditional graded grinding coal slurry thickening process, but it has its own unique process control points in the dehydration coal moisture control, pressure filtration coal preparation coal slurry concentration control, thickener operation and subsequent water treatment system. The operation of coal slurry thickening were summarized and explained to provide reference for subsequent process technology optimization and establishment of relevant specifications.
