Abstract:The drainage and depressurization before mining in the roof water abundance area could induce the mining pressure behavior of the working face, which posed a threat to the safe mining of the coal seam in the roof water abundance working face. In this paper, combined with the drainage and depressurization process of No.N1105 Face in Yuwu Coal Industry, microseismic monitoring was carried out on the mining of roof water abundance working face after drainage. It was found that after the roof was drained, the frequency and energy of microseismic events at the edge of the water abundance area and its outside were much higher than those in the water abundance area. The peak position of microseismic energy was 70-80 m away from the edge of the water abundance area, indicating that this area was the key area for the prevention and control of mine pressure. The research results could provide guidance for the prevention and control of mining pressure accidents caused by drainage and depressurization of coal mine roof.
