Abstract: In order to study the hydrogeological characteristics of the Ordovician limestone aquifer in Huipodi Mine, the hydrogeological, hydrodynamic and hydrochemical characteristics of the Ordovician limestone aquifer were qualitatively analyzed and quantitatively evaluated by using the basic theories of underground water chemical kinetics and hydrogeochemistry, which provided a basis for the formulation of scientific and reasonable water prevention and control measures in Huipodi Mine. The research showed that the change of water quality type of Ordovician limestone aquifer in Podi Mine from south to north was SO4·HCO3-Ca·Mg→HCO3·SO4-Na·Ca→HCO3-Ca·Mg→ SO4·Cl-Ca·Mg. The aquifers in the south and east of the study area were shallow, the permeability was strong, the underground water runoff was fast, and the karst was more developed. Karst was relatively developed in the middle wavy strip, forming a medium underground water runoff zone ; the northern and northwestern aquifers were buried deep, the permeability was weak, the underground water runoff was slow, and the karst was not developed.
