In view of the failure mechanism of the transportation roadway in the isolated island working face under the close-distance coal seam goaf in Hexi Mine, the bearing structure formed by the roadway support scheme under the condition of three empty faces was analyzed. The initial support scheme was optimized, and the side anchor cables and corner anchor cables were added to form an effective three-level bearing structure. The anchoring depth was increased by 2 m compared with the initial support scheme, and the anchoring depth of the anchor cables reached 7.6 m. After the underground application of the optimized scheme, the surrounding rock deformation of the roadway was well controlled, the roof deformation was controlled within 153 mm, and the two sides were controlled within 126 mm.
