Based on geological occurrence of coal bed in Gaohe Mine, numeral simulation software FLAC3D was adopted to study W1309 air return roadway surrounding rock deformation features and stress distribution, the support plan was designed. The application result showed that the total amount of surrounding rock separation was small, with good control of roadway surrounding rock surface displacement, meeting the needs of safe mining.
