Abstract： Hazardous chemicals are used in chemical and pharmaceutical production frequently. They are often stored in tank farm or dangerous storage. Generally, large amount, loading and unloading by tank cars are stored in the tank farm; Small amount, bottled or barreled and other small packages are stored in the dangerous storage. In case of leakage or explosion of hazardous chemicals, it will cause great harm to the environment and human body, so the safety design of tank farm and dangerous storage should be paid attention. According to the relevant specification requirements, the class A dangerous storage was taked as an example and the base point of the dangerous storage design were summaried from the perspective of every discipline. And it was put forward that safety issues should be paid attention to in the early stage of hazardous chemical dangerous storage design to provide guarantee for safe production.
