For the structure of middle slot of scraper conveyor, redundancy design is usually used in traditional design, which causes serious material waste. This paper is based on MSC.Marc finite element software was used to analyze the stress of the middle groove structure of SGZ-800/800 scraper conveyor. Based on the analysis results, the defects and problems existing in the traditional design were clarified. Based on the advanced optimization method, the structure of the middle groove was optimized and improved, which significantly reduced the weight of the structural parts under the premise of ensuring the stability and safety of the equipment.
