The deformation damage of the track roadway in the Majiliang Mine was investigated, and the deformation damage characteristics of the roadway surrounding rocks were investigated. By studying the mechanism of surrounding rock destabilization in the roadway, the poor lithology of the perimeter rock, the large range of loose ring, the great burial depth of the roadway, the low original support strength and poor coupling were the main reason for the large scale deformation and damage of the roadway. Combined with the actual situation of the mine, a pre "solid", mid "unloading", later "anti" coupled support mode was adopted, through the rework support design, the stability of the roadway perimeter rock was well controlled.
