From the perspective of using heat pipes to extract heat from the meteorite mountain, to effectively control the spontaneous combustion of the waste rock mountain and protect the environment, three different types of heat pipes were inserted into the meteorite mountain by the experimental method to detect the temperature changes of the underground evaporation section and the surface condensation section. Focus on the change of the temperature of the meteorite around the heat pipe and the heat transfer effect of the heat pipe with different heat dissipation methods, the results showed that the temperature of the internal temperature of the meteorite mountain gradually increased with the depth in the vertical direction, and the temperature changed within the depth of 4 m was about 35 °C. The fin tube had the most obvious change in the temperature of the meteorite. In the initial 48 h, the meteorite around the evaporating section dropped by 15 °C, and the drop was 10%~11%. When the insertion depth was about 4 m, compared with ground heat the best heat transfer effect of the heat pipe was the fin tube, following the double heat pipe and the water casing.
