North China type coalfield was threatened by floor Taiyuan Formation limestone and Ordovician limestone karst water disaster, which was the main factor affecting coal mine safety mining. Ground area advanced exploration grouting reinforcement was a common means of floor water disaster control. The effect evaluation after exploration grouting control was indispensable, which could provide basis for later mining or tunneling. The single index and qualitative evaluation had certain subjectivity and limitations. In this paper, combined with engineering examples, eight evaluation indexes were selected to construct the evaluation system, and the evaluation model was established by using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The evaluation model was used to evaluate the left wing boundary return air ground directional drilling cover project in Zhuxianzhuang Coal Mine III3 mining area. The evaluation results of ground exploration and control effect were excellent-good, which was consistent with the engineering practice verification.
