Abstract: In order to prevent the water outburst problem in the production of Yintang Mine, especially the influence of karst water in the karst strong aquifer of the underlying Maokou Formation ( P2m ) on the mining of D coal seam, and ensure the safety production of the second level ( + 700 ) coal mining in the coal mine,the water abundance of karst water in Maokou Formation was proved through the construction of three hydrogeological drilling holes in the roadway for pumping test. Combined with the thickness, lithology and water abundance of each aquifer, and thickness, lithology and water-blocking performance of each aquiclude in the mine field, the hydrogeological types of the mine were divided, and the normal water inflow and the maximum water inflow of the mine were predicted.
