Abstract: The shield beam is the main load-bearing component of the hydraulic support. In order to grasp the structural performance of its structure in the process of use, the shield beam in ZY12000/28/64D hydraulic support of Duerping Mine is taken as the research object. The finite element simulation model of the shield beam is established by using Solidworks and ANSYS software. The structural performance of the shield beam is studied from the aspects of stress change and structural deformation. The results show that there is a large stress concentration and structural deformation at the bottom middle area and the left hinge ear of the front end of the ZY12000/28/64D hydraulic support shield beam. For the weak part of the whole structure, the change rule of its structure is mastered. At the same time, the structural optimization and improvement measures of the shield beam are put forward from the aspects of structural strength design, material properties and heat treatment. The research has important reference value for improving the structural performance and safety of the shield beam.
