Abstract： The types and characteristics of carbon monoxide’s conversion catalyst was introduced. The using and working principle of the wide temperature and sulfur resistance conversion catalyst in the conversion device were described, and also the protection methods at different times in the production process were described. The protection methods and precautions of the wide temperature and sulfur resistance conversion catalyst at different times were detailed described, and the neglected factors which directly affect the life of the catalyst were emphasized. The role of the catalyst in production, and methods how to prolong the usage period of the catalyst were showed. At last the process of decreased activity of the catalyst and the importance of stable operation were summarized.
