Abstract： In order to remove a large number of impurities such as carbon black and tar in the process gas of German BGL gasifier, more effective gas components are reacted, a new adsorbent which can effectively remove and absorb impurities and poisons such as oxygen, tar and dust in process gas and a new pre vulcanization shift catalyst which can effectively adapt to high efficiency components, has obvious oil resistance effect and does not need vulcanization were introduced. The catalyst can conduct gas only by raising the bed temperature to the required temperature of the catalyst, which saves the start-up cost, and has good activity and stability. The results show that the new adsorbent and catalyst are running well in BGL gasification process.
