Abstract: In order to solve the problem of poor bonding between flame retardant plate and thin wood veneer, a new solution of preparing polyacrylate adhesive was presented after analysis of flame retardant surface morphology and characteristics. A two-component polyurethane-type adhesive was prepared by mixing?isocyanate curing agent and polyacrylate oligomer?with hydroxy group which was synthesized by free radical polymerization, followed by formula optimization, the adhesive reached a good bonding effect between the poplar wood veneer and the flame retardant plate and the bonding strength was evaluated by indirect method (shear strength) and direct method (wood veneer residue rate), respectively. The results showed that when the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the synthesized polyacrylate oligomer was 20 ℃, the hydroxyl value of the synthesized polyacrylate oligomer was 25 mg KOH/g, the ratio of the main agent and the curing agent was 5∶1, and the amount of nano calcium carbonate filler was 30%, the best bonding effect was achieved, with 3.10 MPa shear strength?and 85% wood veneer residue rate.
