Abstract: Due to the abnormal gush of carbon monoxide gas in the mining face in recent years, the total amount of carbon monoxide gas that can be desorbed from the coal sample in the deep area of the coal seam was measured by collecting coal samples at 25℃ based on a thermostatic nitrogen-filled desorption device using the oxygen isolation sampling method at the coal mining face, and in order to reduce the error caused by the oxidation of carbon monoxide gas during the sampling, a constant temperature experiment was conducted to correct for this error, and the total amount of primary carbon monoxide gas in the No. 1 and No. 2 coal samples from the Xigou Mine and the Xiaojiawa Mine were calculated to be at least 0.19 L/t and 0.15 L/t, indicating that primary carbon monoxide gas existed in the coal seam during coal formation.
