In order to figure out the reasons of abnormal gas in deep area of Baode Mine, its influence on gas emission in working face was researched from aspects of pressure changes, roof caving and working face production on the basis of actual situation of mine gas emission. The results showed that variation trend of underground roadway pressure fluctuation was similar to ground atmospheric pressure, and large roof caving of coal seam led to gas overrun in 88203 working face.
