Based on the fact that the anchor network parameters of the transportation roadway were not reasonable and cannot fully play the role of high-strength anchors, some roadway roofs with sinking and fracture problems, based on the actual geological conditions of the transportation roadway, a comprehensive research method such as theoretical analysis and field monitoring were conducted, the combined form of high-strength anchors + anchor ropes as permanent support was selected. The field industrial test showed that with this support scheme, the top and bottom slab displacement and the two sides displacement of the roadway were reduced, which can alleviate the problem of large deformation of the thick coal seam retrieval roadway in this mine area, with important significance for the control of the surrounding rock of the roadway and even in similar geological conditions in China.
