Study on the influence of roadway air intake on the risk of spontaneous combustion in goaf under the condition of high drainage roadway mining

In order to solve the problem of the mutual influence between the spontaneous combustion of goaf and the effect of gas prevention and control caused by different air intake in working face under the condition of high extraction roadway extraction, the relationship between the gas effect and the change of coal spontaneous combustion risk and extraction in the goaf under different intake conditions was studied. In this paper, a gas seepage model of the goaf in a main coal seam of a mine was established, and numerical simulation software was used to study the influence of different intake air volumes on the risk of spontaneous combustion and gas prevention in the goaf. The results showed that the gas concentration in the goaf decreased with the increase of the air intake in the working face, the width of the oxidized temperature rise zone increased, and the risk of spontaneous combustion in the goaf increases. And when the wind speed of the intake roadway was 1 m/s~1.25 m/s, the effect was the best.
