Aiming at the problems of permanent support time and excess support during the excavation of the 470 north wing auxiliary transportation rock roadway in Changcun Mine, after analyzing the reasons for the unreasonable arrangement of the support cables in the roadway, the layout of anchor cables was optimized, and the FLAC3D numerical simulation method was used to simulate the surrounding rock deformation law of the roadway under different support schemes. The optimal support method for achieving 470 North Wing auxiliary transportation rapid roadway formation was given as 3-0-2-0-3 big five flower anchor cable arrangement. The field application showed that the total support time of the roadway was reduced by 3.5 hours per original five rows.
