The choice of lifting equipment has a direct impact on mine construction investment, production capacity, production efficiency and production costs. The extra-large Menkeqing Mine was taken as an example, the selection and analysis of the equipment selection of the main shaft lifting system of the coal mine was carried out. According to the requirements of mine lifting capacity, various main design schemes were proposed according to the number of wellbore, lifting container, lifting equipment configuration and arrangement. The advantages and disadvantages of each scheme were analyzed in detail and the optimal scheme was determined, providing reference for the design of main shaft hoisting system under similar conditions.
