The structure and classification of vertical hoist was introduced, the working principle of hoist hydraulic control system was studied, combined with the current hoist system, the structure was optimized to improve safe braking coefficient, the constant decelerating braking and two-stage braking of hydraulic control system with monitoring was given, the safety circuit function of single rope TE160 hoist was improved, the result showed that the hydraulic system was improved in safety and stability.
