It is pointed out in national industrial policy that the new coke oven must be equipped with the corresponding coke dry guenching ( CDQ ). The two sets of 125 t / h and two sets of 140 t / h CDQ devices were built in a coking plant. There were two common installed schemes in CDQ waste heat power generation which were the single-pressure and high-pressure boiler with condensing steam turbine generator back to the heat system, dual-pressure high-pressure boiler with recuperative system condensing steam turbine power generation unit respectively. The characteristics of these two schemes were described,their engineering technical and economy were compared. It has concluded the dual-pressure high-pressure boiler with condensing steam turbine generator back to the heating system had less investment, better economic benifit.
