Development of collapse column, fault and other geological structure led to hydraulic connection between upper aquifer of main working bed and various limestone aquifers, which had a serious potential threate of water disasters to next group in mining process. Based on comparative research of structures ( collapse column, fault ) response characteristics, an effective method of electrical prospecting was needed, which optimized key link of data processing, verified water abundance of structure. It showed that data validation was in a good condition. The results showed that electrical prospecting in detecting structure of lower coal mining ( fault and collapse column ) of rich water ( guide ) was feasible.
