Based on working facelayout and mining affetcted by faults, and maximizing recovery of coal resources, gob-side roadway support technique and transport gateway excavation along the fault irregular arrangement of fully mechanized working face were used in 10202 working face of Rongtai Mine . With mining advance, working face length increased, bracket by supporting design of working face and increasing nose, chute method were adopted. As a result, technical problems of irregular block stoping in fully mechanized working face of Rongtai Mine were creatively solved and provided a new direction to irregular working face mining technology in similar geologicalconditions.
