Given the current situation of coal and gas outburst in Xintun Mine, related responsible person has decided regional and the local comprehensive outburst prevention measures, and researched the regional prevention measures of mining protective coal seam and draining the coal seam gas out in advance. Processed from the project planning and adhering to the principle of “one ventilating and three preventions”, including reasonable ventilating system, reduced rock cross-cut coal uncovering, exploring mining protective coal seam and gob-side entry retaining. Y type ventilation way without coal pillar mining, areas without protective coal seam would adopt 2 floor rock lane wear layer drilling drainage stripe in DCS, accompanying with hydraulic flushing and reconnect extraction. It turns out that coal seam gas-bearing capacity has reduced below 7 m3/t and the gas concentration in upper corner during mining face remains below 0.8%, the gas concentration in the return current is below 0.4%, which indicates an effective result of gas control.
