Analysis on mine pressure distribution and deformation characteristics of roadway surrounding rock under mining influence

Abstract: Narrow coal pillar will seriously affect the stability of surrounding rock of mining roadway under the dual influence of residual abutment pressure of upper goaf and advance abutment pressure of working face. Through numerical simulation, the stress environment change and deformation and failure characteristics of surrounding rock of roadway in S3-7 working face of Changcun Mine during the mining process of narrow coal pillar roadway were analyzed. The results showed that with the advance of working face, the peak advance abutment pressure increased. The peak value of abutment stress was reached at about 10 m deep on the solid coal side of the roadway, and the influence range was about 55 m. Within the influence range of advance abutment pressure, it showed a trend of increasing first, then decreasing and then increasing. This study could provide reference for other similar mines.
