In order to improve the recovery rate of coal resources, the mining technology practice of fully mechanized caving face is carried out in No.8103 Face of Xinxing Coal Industry. The angle between No.8103 Face and the designed diagonal is 12.8°, and the advance return air along the transport chute is required to push the mining by 35 m. The three points of 75 # frame, 35 # frame and head are determined as the rotation center. Through the formulation of detailed technical measures, the safe mining is realized, and 27 000 tons of coal resources are recycled, which has achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
