Coal chemical industry is an important part of China's economic system, and the development of coal chemical industry promotes the development of social economy. By analyzing the development status of coking industry in coal chemical industry, the measures taken by different production enterprises to improve product recovery rate, and the technological upgrading and transformation by using waste heat and steam generated by residual pressure in the production process or power generation, finally, the measures and direction of energy utilization were optimized, and all kinds of energy consumption in the production process were reduced. Under the incentive of the national double carbon policy, coal chemical enterprises can actively build a new normal of low-carbon production in combination with the actual production and operation of the unit. The research on the optimization of coal chemical production process technology route provides a reference direction for promoting the efficient development of enterprises under the guidance of carbon emission reduction policies.
