Abstract：There are many factors affecting the separation effect of magnetic separators in coal preparation plants. In order to improve the separation effect of magnetic separators, some parameters affecting the separation effect of magnetic separators are studied. Based on the analysis of the structure and separation principle of magnetic separators, the influence mechanism of different mineral contents (quartz, kaolinite, montmorillonite) on the separation effect of magnetic separators is studied. Finally, the minerals that have the greatest influence on the separation effect of magnetic separators are obtained, which lays the foundation for the subsequent guarantee or improvement of the separation effect of magnetic separators in coal preparation plants.
