The disc brake of vertical shaft hoist is very important in the hoisting system to ensure its safety and reliability. Gequan mine headquarters main and secondary shaft garage disc brakes installed in 2006, after repeated maintenance, the equipment aging phenomenon, needed to be replaced, and the existing pressure sensor used to measure the internal disc spring force with shortcomings. In response to these problems, the causes of the problems were summarized and analyzed, and the disc brake was replaced with an intelligent monitoring disc brake and a built-in brake positive pressure sensor, which solved the problems of the existing pressure sensor for measuring internal disc spring force.
