The roof beam is a key component of the hydraulic support, and it is important to ensure its structural strength. Combining the structural characteristics of the top beam of ZY12000 mine hydraulic support, the structural performance of the top beam under different working conditions was studied, and the deformation law of the top beam structure was analyzed. The study showed that the articulated connection between the roof beam and tail beam was the weak part of the structure, and the optimization and improvement measures for the roof beam structure were given, which provided a reference for further optimization and improvement of the roof beam.
