The water abundance of the main aquifers in the third, fourth and fifth mining areas of Wanfeng Mine was not clear, and there were hidden dangers of water disasters, which affected the safety of production. In order to solve the problem, this paper used ground electrical exploration technology to detect the main aquifers of the mine. Through the ground exploration design in the early stage, field layout construction and on-site data collection in the middle stage, and data processing, result analysis and other processes in the late stage, the location and influence range of the four main aquifer water abundance areas were accurately delineated. According to the results report, Wanfeng Mine carried out drilling verification on the delineated abnormal areas in advance, and took effective drainage measures, which eliminated potential water hazards, created a safe mining environment, and achieved good economic and technical results.
