In order to accurately prevent and control the roof water disaster of No.2105 Face in Tonghe Coal Mine, the parallel electrical method was used to detect the roof of the coal seam. A total of 4 abnormal areas were delineated, which were 0 ~ 130 m abnormal area of the upper crossheading, 0 ~ 63 m, 360 ~ 603 m and 870 ~ 905 m abnormal areas of the lower crossheading. On this basis, the directional drilling exploration technology was used to detect the water abundance of the abnormal area, and the drainage was carried out to realize the safe mining of the working face, which provided experience for the safe mining of the follow-up working face of the mine and the mines with similar geological conditions.
